April 28- May 2 DIA FIELD TRIP Week! Hooray!!!!

Students will...

ART ONE & Advanced Art:

• learn about the american mobile artist Alexander Calder
• Create a mobile in the style of Alexander Calder
• Develop an idea for an independent art project and begin implementing if applicable

DIA FIELDTRIP: students will go the the Detroit Institute of Arts field trip on May 1 to explore hands-on the visual arts in a meaningful way

Art History FRIDAY: Students will get into their groups to finalize organization and plans to present their "art lesson" for the day. Students will also be signing up for a day to present.
