• Select an independent/ Choice painting to draw and apply learned color theory through acrylic/tempera Painting
• ART HISTORY FRIDAY: learn about the artist Leonardo da Vinci
• BBC Leonardo da Vinci film
• Note-taking
• ADVANCED ART:
• review color theory and learn about mixing/shading with complementary colors and understand split-complementary colors
• Create a portrait in the style of Chuck Close
• learn about the artist Rembrandt (with passed Leonardo quiz) through a WebQuest
• STUDIO ART
• learn about oil painting techniques and artist Robert Indiana
• continue working on their independent projects
