Art One:
Students will...

• learn about Value in descriptive text through a guided lesson.
• draw an apple and create VALUE using words to create form.
• Draw and apply descriptive text knowledge on an independent descriptive text project.
• THURSDAY: Art History Review; PowerPoint Review with teacher per group
• Benchmarks: National Art Standard 1,3  MI Benchmarks: 2

Advanced Art:
Students will...

1. Learn about text in art through a guided lesson via youtube and direct instruction with teacher.
2. View and reflect on magazine text (examples on Pinterest) and the influence technology has on artists.
3. Select an independent Magazine text art project and begin implementing it this week.
4. THURSDAY: same as Art ONE. (see above)

Studio Art: Independent Art Projects and lessons given on an as-needed basis.
MONDAY: PowerPoint review with teacher per group. Diego Rivera art history lesson (*please note: Art One and Adv. Art had the Diego Rivera art lesson last Friday due to library computer lab availability changes)
Benchmarks: National Art Standards 1-5 MI Benchmarks: varies on each indiv. Studio artist
